Since 2017 – Ongoing, 8 editions

The TWC involves more than 30 relevant partners, including top Italian brands from the food industry (Amadori, Matilde Vincenzi, Hausbrandt, De’Longhi, H&H and other sectors, relevant Public Administrations (Regions, Chambers of Commerce, Municipalities), DMOs and Unions, The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’,  Italea and others.

In the course of its five editions, the Tiramisù World Cup has achieved the following objectives:

• Make the excellence of Made in Italy known around the world through tiramisu and the positive values it evokes;
• Bring together the community of tiramisu lovers (more than 16k users) generating engagement and keeping the attention high throughout the year, also through UGC;
• Increase the brand awareness and reputation of the tourism destinations involved;
• Generate tourist flow towards the destinations involved;
• Contribute to the visibility and increased turnover of the project Partners;
• Increase media exposure of the territory in Italy and abroad;
• Internationalize the project by conducting selections abroad, including in Brazil, Uruguay, and Canada.

The event represented a concrete networking and PR opportunity for players in the tourism sector, aiming at building business and sharing projects and cases of success.
The conference involved 10 speakers, including both public and private sector as well as moderators. More than 100 Travel & Tourism operators attended the networking activities.

Year 2017

The project has been realised within the Agreement “Sile, Oasi d’Acque e di Sapori” among the following Municipalities: Comune di Treviso, Comune di Casale sul Sile (TV), Comune di Casier (TV), Comune di Istrana (TV), Comune di Morgano (TV), Comune di Quinto di Treviso (TV), Comune di Roncade (TV), Comune di Silea (TV), Comune di Vedelago (TV), Parco del Fiume Sile.

The main objective of the events festival was the territorial and tourist enhancement of the places and municipalities along the axis of the river Sile, in the province of Treviso.
Following an intense activity of territorial animation, the project website was created, which, in addition to promoting the events festival, provides information and news on the territory, travel itineraries with different themes and suggestions on venues, accommodation and activities. In addition to the promotional video, the festival was equipped with a tourist card, called SileCard, which allowed the tasting of typical local dishes in selected venues along the river, as well as a series of conventions with local companies providing tourist services and others.

The pathway of the DMC Montello aims at identifying, developing and promoting a territorial tourism brand and a sustainable and quality tourism offer towards target markets interested in discovering the local features of the Montello area.
Thanks to the actions defined within the Action Plan, in coherence and complementarity with the tourism policies at a regional level, the following outputs have been achieved:

• Definition of the DMC Montello logo, Brand Manual and basic graphics;
• Activation of new products;
• Creation of networks and extension of local collaboration networks;
• Design and development of the “Carta dell’Accoglienza” and “Patentino dell’Ospitalità” through training initiatives in line with current trends, aimed at Montello’s tour operators and residents;
• Development of a destination portal and social media channels for territorial marketing initiatives;
• Design, development and activation of the Montello Pass, a card that allows visitors to take advantage of different types of conventions offered by the local network of museums as well as other participating activities;
• Drafting of the Destination Plan.
