The Tiramisù World Cup took the stage at the 34th Economic Forum, held on September 2-4, 2025, in Karpacz, Poland.

For three days, representatives of politics, business, economics, science, and culture from more than 50 countries debated the most important challenges of modern times, focusing on this year’s Forum’s leading theme: “Time of Transformation – What Will the Future of Europe Look Like?”

The Forum hosted more than 600 events, including plenary and special sessions, discussion panels, debates, report presentations, special events, author meetings, press briefings, galas, and concerts.

On the second day of the Economic Forum, Dr. Mateusz Szpytma, Vice President of the Institute of National Remembrance, took part in a debate on the role of cultural heritage in regional identity and the development of cultural tourism. The panel featured institutional and international representatives, including Francesco Redi, founder and CEO of the Tiramisù World Cup.

Over the years, this competition has established itself as a tangible tool for territorial promotion, capable of attracting audiences and participants from all over the world and activating a network of collaboration among cities, institutions, businesses, and professionals.

Joining Redi on stage were representatives from European institutions, including Bożena Żelazowska (Secretary of State, Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Poland), Wioletta Majer-Szreder (Mayor of Gniewino, Poland), and Jarosław Rabczenko (Board Member of the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland). The debate was moderated by Tomasz Sztreker of the Faith in Business Foundation.

It was a valuable opportunity to bring tiramisù to the heart of the European dialogue—as a concrete example of how gastronomic heritage can contribute to building cultural identity, fostering sustainable territorial development, and enhancing local traditions in a transforming Europe.
