The Tiramisù World Cup took the stage at the 10th European Congress of Local Governments, held on March 3–4, 2025, in Mikołajki, Poland.

The congress, which brings together over 2,000 participants from across Europe each year, is one of the most prominent international events dedicated to fostering dialogue between local authorities, business leaders, academia, and the cultural sector. This year’s theme, “Global Challenges – Local Solutions,” invited reflection on how local communities can respond to global issues through innovation and cooperation.

Within the panel “Tasting the World – Culinary Signature of Cities and Regions and Their Impact on Tourism Development,” Francesco Redi, Founder and CEO of the Tiramisù World Cup, presented the competition as a successful case of promoting Italian culinary and cultural identity on an international level.

Over the years, the Tiramisù World Cup has become a powerful tool for enhancing territorial value, attracting participants and visitors from around the world and engaging cities, institutions, companies, and professionals in a shared project.

Joining Redi on stage were key representatives of European institutions and enterprises involved in gastronomic tourism, including Marcin Bańcerowski (President of DiWine Wine Manufaktura, Poland), Radoslaw Dobrowolski (Mayor of Suprasl, Poland), and Gintaras Skamaročius (Association Nemunas Euroregion, Lithuania). The session was moderated by Joanna Zukowska from the Warsaw School of Economics.
