Strategic Plan of Tourism in Veneto – Agents of change

The third Strategic Plan of Tourism in Veneto addresses the themes of digital challenges, artificial intelligence for innovative destination management, and the enhancement of human capital. The kick-off meeting officially launched the reprogramming of Veneto’s tourism strategies, with the participation of the Steering Committee, representatives, and stakeholders from the tourism industry. The working groups are thematic and will be held in Venice (June 25-26), Treviso (July 9-10), and Padua (July 23-24).

Objectives and results

Following the decision to adopt an organizational model based on participation for the drafting and subsequent management of the Plan, a comprehensive Communication sphere has been devised, planned, scheduled, and managed. This includes the development of periodic newsletters, live streaming sessions, and a regional web platform for sharing and participation.

Business network “Treviso and the Garden of Venice”

A Temporary Association of Enterprises was created in the area of the province of Treviso with the objective of contributing to the tourist development of the destination. The project was financed by the POC Programme Veneto Region 2014-2020.

June 2021 – October 2023

Partner

Twissen collaborates with several network companies including The Foscarini, Villa Cipriani, Radikio Festival and RechSteiner. The project was coordinated by Fondazione Marca Treviso.

Objectives and results

Twissen shared several initiatives with the companies in the network, such as market research for commercial purposes in foreign markets, especially Belgium and the UK, and various promotional activities in both traditional and social media.
Joint activities of the network enhanced aspects of promotion such as participation in trade fairs, the realisation of Fam Trip or Influencer tours.

BLUTOURSYSTEM - Knowledge platform, skills and creative synergies for blue tourism ecosystem development (Programma Interreg Italy – Croatia 2014-2020)

Support to the communication and organisation of training and coaching meetings organised by the Veneto Region, partner of the BLUTOURSYSTEM project. The three meetings organised were addressed to four geographical targets of tourism operators, located in the regional areas eligible for the project.
The BLUTOURSYSTEM project aims at increasing the innovation of the blue economy within the cooperation area, enhancing its tourist offer in a creative way, while developing new knowledge based on advanced tools and services.

Objectives and results

The objective of the assignment was to manage the communication of the training meetings promoted by the Veneto Region, aimed at operators in the tourism sector, both public and private, located in four different areas of the region.

TWISSEN ROOM – Innovative Businesses in the Era of Digital Tourism

The Twissen Room is a format and the first event was organised in 2017, dedicated to recent innovations, digital and not, applied to the Travel & Tourism industry and the concrete business opportunities related to them.
The event was aimed at DMOs, Networks of Enterprises, Tourism Product Clubs, Accommodation Facilities and others, and was divided into two moments: the conference during which relevant best practices and industry trends were presented, followed by the opening of the workshops and the networking dinner.

PSTV - Strategic Plan of Tourism in Veneto

The Regional Strategic Plan of Tourism 2021 – 2023 defines and updates the strategic guidelines for tourism in the Veneto Region. Consistent with the adoption of a participatory organisational model, Twissen, in the wake of the previous collaboration with the client in the process of defining the Veneto Region Strategic Plan 2018-2020, managed the specific communication and developed the technical aspect of planning and organising the online meetings of the thematic round tables, providing support to their management.

In addition, a cycle of online meetings open to the 5 previously established thematic tables was planned, organised and managed.
