A study by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eccia.eu\/#activities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eccia<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> showed how this booming sector has the <\/span><b>potential <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to grow <\/span><b>from 170 to 520 billion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the Old Continent from now to 2030-2035, also thanks to the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leurispes.it\/il-turismo-di-lusso-non-conosce-crisi-ed-e-gia-ai-livelli-del-2019\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rise of the Asian middle class<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, especially in countries such as China, Hong Kong, India, and Malaysia. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iriss.cnr.it\/rapporto-sul-turismo-italiano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">24th Italian Tourism Report<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> estimates that luxury tourism will increase significantly in <\/span><b>Italy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, however, it emphasises the need to develop better methods to intercept &#8216;high-spending&#8217; tourists and fully exploit the potential of this segment. The Country in fact, despite being confirmed as the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilsole24ore.com\/art\/personalizzazione-mobilita-e-alta-formazione-portare-italia-vertice-turismo-lusso-AE24H1L?refresh_ce=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">most popular destination<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for luxury tourists, is only in third place for the number of visits, preceded by France and Great Britain. In order to achieve more sustained growth in this sector, according to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ttgitalia.com\/stories\/ttg_luxury\/176457_il_turismo_di_lusso_in_italia_un_potenziale_ancora_inespresso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eccia<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, there is a need to invest in sustainable and naturalistic tourism, mobility-related infrastructures, facilitate visas, and promote a <\/span><b>hospitality training system focused on the high-end<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Which are the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gecoconsulenzealberghiere.com\/i-nuovi-trend-dei-viaggiatori-di-lusso-post-pandemia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">trends <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in this market segment? High-spending travellers are looking for <\/span><b>authenticity <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and a connection with the destination territory, paying attention to <\/span><b>slow<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>sustainability-conscious tourism<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, away from the most popular destinations.
