{"id":9240,"date":"2022-03-14T07:45:51","date_gmt":"2022-03-14T06:45:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/twissen.com\/?p=9240"},"modified":"2022-03-14T10:36:11","modified_gmt":"2022-03-14T09:36:11","slug":"investeu-372-billion-support-smes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/twissen.com\/en\/trends-en\/policies-funding\/investeu-372-billion-support-smes\/","title":{"rendered":"InvestEU: 372 billion to support small and medium enterprises"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In the 2021-2027 budgetary period, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/news\/it\/headlines\/eu-affairs\/20210225STO98708\/investeu-il-programma-dell-ue-per-favorire-gli-investimenti\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">InvestEU<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> will foster <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">investment<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, support <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">recovery <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and project the <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">economy<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> into the future. <\/span><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Programme brings together the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.consilium.europa.eu\/en\/policies\/investment-plan\/strategic-investments-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">European Fund for Strategic Investments<\/span><\/i><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (EFSI) and 13 other European financial instruments. It is inspired by the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/europa.eu\/investeu\/about-investeu_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Investment Plan for Europe<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, or Junker Plan, which mobilised \u20ac500 billion between 2015 and 2020. While the Plan was designed as a response to the financial and economic crisis of 2008, InvestEU <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">responds to the challenges of the pandemic and those related to sustainability and the digital transition<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> in the long term.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The budget for InvestEU amounts to \u20ac26.2 billion for a total estimated impact of \u20ac372 billion. In managing the funds, participants will be supported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/europa.eu\/investeu\/investeu-advisory-hub\/about-investeu-advisory-hub_it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>InvestEU Advisory Hub<\/i><\/a> in the preparation, development, planning and implementation of their projects<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.
