Chinese Travel & Tourism industry has become a growing market in\u202fvolumes\u202fand investments.\u202fAccording to the\u202f\u202fHurun\u202fResearch Institute<\/a>\u202fin the “Hurun\u202fChinese Luxury Consumer Survey 2017”,\u202fbased on\u202f449 Chinese “millionaires”\u202f(with\u202fa personal\u202fwealth of about 1,3 million euros),\u202f90% of\u202fthem\u202fare confident of China\u2019s\u202feconomic\u202fdevelopment and\u202fit was registered an appetite for luxury up to 20%.<\/p>\n

Although the real estate market is the\u202ffavourite\u202ffor investments, travel is the first leisure activity for the respondents, representing the highest expense.\u202fIn fact, among the preferred gifts,\u202fthere is a\u202fgrowing interest\u202fin\u202ftravel vouchers (9th\u202fplace for men and 5th\u202ffor women). The report\u202falso\u202fshows how Chinese millionaire\u00a0seniors\u202fare\u202fkeen on travelling. In their preferences,\u202ftravel vouchers are\u202fat\u202f2nd\u202fplace.<\/p>\n

When it comes to travelling,\u202fChinese millionaires\u202fdo\u202fnot travel a lot for leisure, due to\u202ftheir work duties.\u00a0 In fact, they travel an average of 8 days per month for business purposes. On average, every year they spend\u202f10 days\u202ffor\u202fleisure, except for the\u202f”super-riches”, who\u202fcan afford about 15 days of holiday a year. Moreover, they\u202ftravel abroad 3 or 4 times every year.\u202fThe top destination in 2016 was\u202fMaldives, followed by France and the USA. Other European destinations are UK (5th), Switzerland (10th), Italy (11th)\u202fand\u202fGermany\u202f(15th).<\/p>\n

Another reason for Chinese millionaires to travel is education. Parents are keen on having their children moving to the USA, United Kingdom and Canada, which lately overtook Australia.<\/p>\n

The report shows how the Chinese market is developing new payments methods. The preferred one is\u202fAlipay, which is replacing credit cards, and\u202fWechat, which was very popular in the Country.<\/p>\n

At\u202fTwissen<\/b>\u202fwe observed that China\u2019s\u202freal estate is doing a big bounce in investments, the consumption rate is pretty high when it comes to travels and children\u202feducation. Health and tourism are the\u202fmost relevant spending sectors. China is becoming the greatest potential in the world not just by the economic field, but also in life style,\u202fhealth, travel and it is expected that soon Beijing and Shanghai, will be on top of the most important cities in 5 years.
