The options range from innovative new companies that offer housing as a subscription to traditional rental platforms and hotels adjusting their products for the workcation crowd.<\/p>\n<p class=\"presto-h2\"><strong>More travelers want long-term lodging options<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The average length of a hotel stay rose 35% to 4.4 days between 2018 and 2019, according to travel data company <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rategain.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RateGain<\/a><\/span>. And the trend accelerated in 2020, with the average stay now at 5.2 days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Subscription services<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another company, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citizenm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">citizenM<\/a><\/span>, also offers a subscription service for digital nomads, freelancers and adventurers who &#8220;love big-city life, but not big-city rent prices.&#8221; Its new Global Passport lets you pay a flat rate of $1,500 for 29 consecutive nights, though additional charges such as tourist taxes may apply.<\/p>\n<p class=\"presto-h3\"><strong>Club memberships<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Inspirato, a luxury travel service, uses a travel club variation on the subscription model. The\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inspirato.com\/pass\/overview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Inspirato Pass<\/a><\/span>, launched late last summer offers access to the company&#8217;s vacation homes and hotels for stays of 2 to 60 days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Co-working accommodations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.selina.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Selina<\/a><\/span>, one of the most established players, has a network of 80 properties in Europe, Latin America, and the United States. Its &#8220;target customers are young digital nomads. In late 2020, <a href=\"https:\/\/globetrender.com\/2020\/10\/31\/selina-acquires-remote-year-launches-digital-nomad-subscriptions\/#:~:text=Selina%20CoLive%20is%20a%20month,to%20three%20locations%20per%20month.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Selina introduced a program<\/span><\/a> that allows subscribers to use any of its spaces for $400 per month. More than half of its rooms are now subscription-based.<br \/>\nA subscription includes accommodations, co-working spaces, daily wellness activities, weekly laundry and meal discounts. Sales of Selina&#8217;s 30-day subscription products have risen 300% in the last four months, according to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.selina.com\/what-is-selina\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rafael Museri<\/a><\/span>, the company&#8217;s CEO.<\/p>\n<p>Read <span style=\"text-decoration:
